Effective December 16. 1999, Human Communications founder and President James Rafferty joined Brooktrout Technology and suspended active operations of Human Communications LLC. During the 13 years which followed, James drove product strategy in Voice over IP products for Brooktrout and the successor companies Cantata and Dialogic in a series of product management roles of increasing responsibility. James left Dialogic at the end of June, 2013 and consulted for various clients in areas such as technology market analysis and in the development of sales enablement tools for new products. James re-joined Dialogic from late 2014 to early 2018 and provided product leadership in several important areas as reviewed in his bio. He is now independent again as reviewed in his Communications Advisor blog and is open to new assignments for consulting, full-time or part-time work.
